Well, besides the baptism, we sure had fun in Washington. We stayed with Patty's sister Virginia and her family. Virginia was a trooper! Waking up early and taking Merrick for a while since I had been up with him since usually 4-5 am. Here she is with Eva and Merrick bright and early. Course, she looks a bit happier later on in a day.
Jack and Dottie got to spend quite a bit of time with the little man. I don't know if his butt hit the ground too much with so many wonderful loving family members just wanting to love on him. :)
Merrick got to spend a bit of time with his cousin Eva. She is several months older than Merrick and crawls very quickly. She also happens to be a Binkie stealer! Here are some pictures of Merrick and Eva together with Dixie.
Randy has a good bit of experience with big strapping boys with Troy and John. He has it down...a Pro for sure. Here he is with Merrick. John has the looks of a guy that just might be a natural (we won't tell the girls.....)

It was a nice coincidence that Patty got to see a former high school, Michelle. Michelle lives in Denver now with her family and happened to be in Clarkston/Lewiston when we were.
And of course, Dear 'Ol Dad. With everyone paying so much attention to the little man, it frees me up to suck down a Fat Tire or two. Fat Tire is a pretty darned good micro-brew that we had on a "couple" of occasions
