We are cruising. Getting up to speed. Not super sure of the handling just yet. But things are definitely smoothing out. Although, if we EVER get to use cruise control on this journey, I am sure it will be much appreciated.
Merrick has been busy. He has seen his two new best friends, Steven and James. Been to the doctor, been out to a couple of restaurants. He has continued to grow and develop at an astounding pace. His doctor's appointment put him at 13lbs 8oz and 25 inches. He is still 100% for his noggin and length, but down below 95% for his weight.
Here are a couple of pics sans outfit to see him in his buffed up glory.
Merrick's smiling and happy times just continue to get better everyday. There is no end to fools we will make of ourselves to get a big smile and coo from him as seen by the normally very serious father below.
James Andrews, son of Lori and Dale, was born May 7th. He was a little over 7lbs. A nice non-bicep bruising size. Below, we have James and Merrick next to each other. Also, Patty and Lori holding the boys.
Steven White, son of Kitty and Shawn, was born May 8th. Steven was a little over 6lbs. We decided we missed out on having a baby that we could hold with one arm.
A check to see how Merrick's feet are growing, puts his foot next to Patty's. Her foot is the one with the painted nails on the right, if you couldn't tell the difference.
Our friend Sheri made this nice quilt of ships that match Merrick's room decor (which you can see in the Baby room page of the house section). Maureen made the blue blanket you see Merrick in on the right. Next web page will have a quilting extravaganza. Dotty has made too many quilts for a casual mention and picture. We are working on a page dedicated just to her contributions. :)
Here is the required spread of cutie pics of Merrick in his bouncy seat.
But new this week is something that will melt your heart. It gets the cutie pose of the page award. Here is Merrick in his overstuffed towel after getting a bath. It was unintentional that the little head cover rode up and the ears stood up. I just had to run to get the camera (tripping over dogs and cats of course).
It was great to share these with you, stay tuned for more.
