Vacations Home

It seems that we have done a good bit of traveling. The truth is that we have family living in the South and the Northwest. Therefore, anytime we wish to go "home", it involves a good bit of travel. Seeing family is what we do for vacation.

We usually try to get to New Orleans during Jazz Festival. The weather is wonderful and it isn't nearly as crowded as Mardi Gras is. It is allows us a nice balance between seeing family and experiencing the best of New Orleans culture (and food!).

Patty was raised in East Washington State on the border with Idaho in the city of Clarkston on the Snake River. We love to hit the Walla Walla and Columbia Valley vineyards when we are back out North West.

Patty and Larry also went to New York City with the Nichols' for an extended weekend. Check pictures from that out here.

And from time to time, we find ourselves down in Virginia Beach or somewhere thereabouts. Pig Roast in Louisville was a blast.

Fall of 2001, Patty and Larry drove around the South Eastern Shore for a couple of weeks. See some of those pics here.

Easter 2002, we hit Vegas, what a blast.
