Walla Walla

Walla Walla is up and coming in the wine world. It sits at the Western end of the Columbia Valley wine country.

When ever we travel to see Patty's family, we usually have to head out to Walla Walla for a day or two with the Russells so we can stock up on some really good wines.

Here we are at Cayuse, one of our favorites. This is the place if you like Syrah. Patty, Virginia, Terry, and me (from left to right).

Now at Woodward Canyon, one of our other favs. This is the place for Cab Sav. They also had one of the biggest bottles of wine I had ever seen. I think it held two cases worth, HUGE!

L'Ecole 41 is a winery that is in an old School house (#41 to be exact). Canoe Ridge has a good Chardonnay

Preston vineyard is the largest place near Walla Walla that we visited. Many many acres of vines and a ski lodge type tasting room/museum to boot. Not to mention good wines.

Overall, a pretty good time. Here is a collection of some of our Walla Walla wines laid out.
